Thornlie Senior High School is an Public high school in Western Australia. The school is located on Ovens Road in the suburb of Thornlie.

The school was established in 1971[1] and caters for students from Year 8 to Year 12. It is located in the Canning educational district and has had enrolments of between 1000-1200 for the last five years.

In 2010 four students from the school were awarded Certificates of Excellence by the Curriculum Council of Western Australia and one student was awarded the University of Western Australia Fogarty Foundation award.[2]

$20,000 of damage were caused in April 2010 when a group of thugs vandalised sections of the school including smashing 40 windows. The criminals then broke into one classroom and destroyed a data projector.[3]

Glenn Sterle, current Western Australian Senator, for the Australian Labor Party attended Thornlie Senior High School from 1974 to 1977.[4]
